Michigan is one of the State of America situated in the Great Lakes region, this is spread out other eight state including the Canadian Province of Ontario. Lansing is the capital city of the Michigan and Detroit is one of the largest. It is counted as the 8th most populous city. It is the only state that consist two peninsulas i.e. Lower Peninsula and Upper Peninsula. They are connected by the Mackinac Bridge. Upper Peninsula is important economically because, it is one of the tourist destination and variety of natural resources are available here including sufficient iron ore. Many individuals have concentrated into the engineering and technological know-how to develop Michigan as the automotive industry. This has changed the private life of people drastically. And still it is one of the major industry that is contributing to its economy. In other hand, tourism sector is another important aspect of this state, almost 193000 people are engaged in tourism related job. One important thing is that it consists 50 percent of forest land, thousands miles of beaches and lakes which are the main attractions.
